James G. Gonzales, 66, of Denton, Texas was called home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  James was born on December 17, 1955 in Pasideo, Texas to John and Otila Gonzales.  He was a graduate of Abilene Cooper High School.  James worked at Peterbilt Motors for 41 years and enjoyed his wood working projects and hanging out with his friends.  James loved his family and cherished the time he spent with all of his friends.

James is survived by his daughter Jamie Mann of Sherman.  Son Ryan Gonzales and wife Hadleigh of Whitesboro, and 4 grandchildren that he loved very much.  Nephew Jeff Marentes of Abilene and Niece Kari Marentes of Abilene.  As well as numerous other family members.

James was preceded in death by his parents, John and Otila Gonzales and sibling Terri Marentes.

Funeral services honoring James will be held on Monday, June 20 ^th at 2:00p.m. at DeBerry Funeral home with a time of visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service.
