James Charles Holcomb passed away in Denton, Texas on Friday, July 7, 2023. He was born in Orange, Texas to Oliver and Julia Holcomb on March 23, 1944.

He enjoyed watching sports, especially boxing. He was a Marine and enjoyed fitness his whole life. He drove a truck for 40 years.  And in his retirement enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and fishing.

James is survived by his son Casey Holcomb and daughter Jessica Wells, grandchildren,  Skylar Stanforth and Elliot Pitts, Julette Holcomb, and Caleb Holcomb.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 14, 2023. James will be laid to rest at the DFW National Cemetery
