James Dale Hudson passed away in Justin, Texas on Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was born to Bill and Judy Hudson in Denton, Texas on January 3, 1954.

Dale enjoyed all things sports and loved traveling to watch a golf tournament or a basketball game. He was a long-time basketball official with the NTBOA where he was a leader and mentor to many. He held a bachelors degree from the University of North Texas and a masters degree from Texas Woman's University. He was able to share his love of sports with the many students he taught as a P.E. Coach.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.

Dale is survived by his mother Judy Hudson, brother Gary Hudson, two children Hilary Norwood and Hunter Hudson, and soon to be 6 grandchildren.
