James R. Hunter 65, of Denton, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Denton, Texas. He was born on August 7, 1952 in Denton, Texas to James Howard and Dovie Ola (Goodson) Hunter.

Rick loved to spend time with his sisters. They would go on road trips and you could find them playing bingo. He retired from Denny's and K-Mart.

Rick is survived by his nieces, Kim Stone, Donna Loiselle, Robin Boydston, Karen Kimball, Lynn Lassiter, Sandra Kirby, nephews, Tildon Bullard and Wes Mohon and many great nieces and great nephews and his K-9 companion, Wendell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Dovie Hunter, sisters, Bobbie Mohon, Gwen Bullard and Patsy Bragg.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas at 10:00 A.M. with rev. Sam Redfearn officiating.
