Obituary
James M. Patterson, 56, of Freeport, formerly of Denton, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013. He was receiving treatment for cancer at M.D. Anderson. The son of Thomas V. Patterson, MD and Jo Oyler Patterson was born on July 8, 1956 in Denton. He was self employed as a contractor and was a member of the Episcopal Church.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. David of Wales Episcopal Church, 623 Ector St., Denton, Texas 76201.
James is survived by his sister, Jane Taylor and husband Alan, and their children, Calvin, Kelsey, and Lane; and his aunt and uncle, Fred and Patsy Patterson of Denton, and aunt, Betty Oyler of Houston. He is preceded in death by his parents.
