Jamie Lynn Bartel passed away at her home in Denton, Texas on Saturday, March 16, 2024. She was born in Dallas, Texas on July 29, 1977. Jamie had an active social life and was planning her upcoming wedding. She is preceded in death by her mother Sheila Hankins, aunt Rebecca Rich and her cousin Michael McCall.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00am Thursday at Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas.

Jamie is survived by her grandmother Betty McCall, brother Christopher Hankins, sister Ashley Hankins, Fiancé Jeffrey Smith, son Gage Bartel, aunt Donna McCall, aunt Lisa McCall and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
