Janice Rose Grise Hundley left our world on May 24, 2012 at her home in Lake Dallas, Texas. She was born in Criner, Oklahoma to Ebin McCorkle Grise, Sr. and Rosa Belle Staggs Grise on March 25, 1934. She was married to Harry Elliott Hundley, Sr. in Gainesville, Texas on October 30, 1953.
Janice graduated from Denton High School. She was a pioneer in the computer field where she worked in computer data during her career. She was an active member in several social groups in the Denton area.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A celebration of her life will be held in a Jazz Funeral graveside service. It will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Hundley Drozd and husband Mike of Lake Dallas; and son, Gary Hundley of Sanger, Texas. Sisters, Lois Woodson of Denton and Joyce Page of Oklahoma. Grandchildren, Alyssa Drozd Whittle and husband Vaughn; Kristin Drozd Wiatrek and husband Christopher; Michael Drozd, Ryan Hundley, Travis Hundley, Gage Hundley, Coy Hundley and Brisa Hundley. Great grandchildren, Weldon Whittle, Taylor Whittle, Avree Whittle and Cole Wiatrek.
Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Hundley, Jr., her parents, Ebin M. Grise, Sr. and Rosa Grise; sister, Mary Witt, and brother, E.M. Grise, Jr.
