Janie M. David, 89, of Runaway Bay, Tx., passed away on March 14, 2024, in Denton. She was born on September 6, 1934, to Clyde and Bettie (Stanley) Derrick.

Janie David was a devoted wife and loving companion of 70 years to her husband C.J. David.

She loved the Lord, trusted and followed the word of God. She walked and held her faith in Christ.

She helped to raise and provide a Christ centered and loving home in the teachings of God's word.

During the 70 years of marriage, she devoted her love, support and commitment to the work of Christ,
the witnessing and sharing of God's word, sharing the good news and salvation through Jesus Christ
our Lord.

She is survived by her sons, Archie David of Sunset, Texas, Gary David of Sunset, Texas, & Mickey David of Runaway Bay, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; & all of her siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on April 6, 2024, at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God in Denton.
