Obituary

Jason Wayne Bryant, 47, of Justin, Texas passed away on June 20, 2020 in Denton, Texas. He was born November 27, 1972 in Amarillo, Texas to David and Jeanetta Sue (Kerrick) Bryant. His family moved to Rochelle, Texas when he was 8, where he grew up. He graduated from Rochelle High School in 1991. Jason attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. He was a licensed Baptist Minister and served as a pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Voca, Texas for 4 years. He graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater/Communications in 1995.

Jason married Marcy Young on June 18, 1994. They had 4 children: David, Elizabeth, Alexander and Anthony.  He was a devoted and loving father and husband. He was employed at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport for 8 years where he was the Simulator Program Developer.

He is preceded in death by his father David and his brother Shane Bryant. He is survived by his wife and children; mother Sue; brother Shannon and wife Michele Bryant; brother Jeremy and wife Colleen Bryant; and best friends Grant and Tamara Hawley.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 11:30 A.M.
