Jason Scott Lindgren passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at his home in Midland. He was born August 7, 1982 in Midland. Jason graduated from Midland High School in 2001 and was a four year letterman in golf. He graduated from the University of North Texas earning a Bachelor's of Science in Business Computing Information Systems and a Master's of Business Administration in Finance. While at North Texas, Jason played varsity golf for 5 years and many teammates became his closest friends. He also met the love of his life, Stephanie Teresa Shasteen.
Jason and Stephanie married on July 5, 2008 in Coppell, Texas. After marriage, he worked in the financial industry in Dallas and Houston. While in Houston, a blessing was bestowed on Jason and Stephanie as Parker Bruce Lindgren was born on November 8, 2011. Shortly thereafter, Jason, Stephanie and Parker moved to Midland where Jason became Treasurer of Warren Equipment Company, a privately held holding company.
Jason was a loving husband, father and son. He loved playing golf with family and friends. Jason's greatest joy was spending time with Stephanie, his princess, and Parker, his little man.
Rosary and visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Chapel, 2255 North Bonnie Brae, Denton. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and son, Parker, his father Steven Carl Lindgren, and wife Dani Lynne, of Midland; his mother, Susan Kay Hair, and husband, Gregory of Midland; his grandfather, Talmadge Eugene Arrington of Ruidoso, New Mexico; his grandmother, Rachel Maurine Lindgren, of Denton; uncles, Scott Harrell Lindgren, and wife, Karen Gene, of Frisco and Terry Eugene Arrington and wife, Susan Carrie, of Granbury; aunts, Linda Joyce Hodge of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Peggy Jean Lee of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and Pamela Jo Robinson of Ruidoso, New Mexico and step-sister, Taylor Ann Fritschen, of Midland. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bruce Frank Lindgren, and his grandmother, Myrtle Luella Arrington.
