Jason Marshall Stringer passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Grand Junction, CO at the age of 36. Jason was born in Denton on August 2, 1976. He graduated from Denton High School-Ryan campus May of 1994. Jason proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After serving in the Army, Jason moved to Grand Junction, CO where he graduated from Mesa State College in May of 2007.

Jason is survived by his parents, Ted and Sandra Lewellen of Possum Kingdom Lake, brother, Jon Stringer and wife Vanessa of Krugerville, sister, Janiece Beardslee and husband Jeff of Pflugerville, step-sisters, Sandy Hughes and husband Brian of Denton, Susan Ragsdale and husband Dan of Frisco. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred D. Stringer, Jr.

A memorial was held in Grand Junction, CO on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

Jason will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jason's final gift was that he was a tissue and organ donor.
