Jay Dennis Beeman, 82, of Argyle, Texas passed away on March 25, 2021 in Denton, Texas. He was born in San Angelo, Texas on October 14, 1938 to J.D. and Edith (Suzie) Beeman.

He attended Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University. He served in the military and was an Army Veteran. He worked as a construction manager for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Beeman, daughters, Lindsey Sawyer and husband Nat, Elizabeth Jost and husband Paul, and Kristi Beeman and husband Pete, son Kevin Freeman and wife Elizabeth, sisters, Sherry Beeman and husband Bill, and Meredith Beeman and husband Dan, Aunt Sally Allen, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Freeman, brother-in-law Randy Chapman and his mother and father.

He was married to Shelia for 37 years.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
