Our beautiful Jeane passed away peacefully Friday night, June 11, 2021.  Jeane, age 82, was born to Vernon and Ethyl Smith of Oklahoma.  She enjoyed an exciting career as the first female hired by the Sales Department of Braniff Airlines in Dallas, Texas.  Later, she supported the local Arts Community, North Texas University, and she chaired the Denton Beautification Committee.  Jeane was an avid golfer, winning club championships at both Denton Country Club and (twice) at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.  Jeane is preceded in death by her former husbands, Benjamin L. Moore, E.W. Morrison jr., and her sisters, Juanita Smith and Doritha Smith.  Jeane is survived by her loving husband, Fred Robert Dobbs of Frisco, Texas and their combined nine children, fifteen grand- children, three great-grandchildren, and one on the way.  She is also survived by a brother, Vernon Dale Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.  We will be celebrating Jeane's life with a family and friends graveside service at 11:30AM, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

Viewing and visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the graveside. A reception will be held at 3 Champion Ct., Frisco, Texas 75034 from 2:00PM to 3:30PM.
