Obituary

Jeanette Amburn Corbell, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Denton Good Samaritan Village.

Jeanette was born on September 18, 1939 in Galveston, Texas to Clyde Amburn, Jr. and Annabelle (Clark) Schneider. She was married to Bobbie Corbell for 61 years. She was preceded in death by Bobbie and brother Kenneth Amburn.

Mrs. Corbell is survived by her daughter, Darla Corbell-Coss; son Bobby Corbell, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth; daughter Carri Belokin and husband, Norman. She was the proud Grammy of 6 grandchildren and 3 ½ great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Corbell was a dedicate mother who was active in youth sports, Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America with her children. Jeanette went on to be a preschool teacher at Cumberland Presbyterian and Genesis Methodist Churches in Fort Worth, TX. She also became a successful Mary Kay Consultant and it was fitting that she passed on the evening of a Pink Moon.

The family would like to thank the teachers, you know who you are, for celebrating Jeanette's 80 th birthday with a party she loved and spoke about often. Cousins, thank you for keeping in touch with Jeanette this past year and lifting her spirits. Finally, a sincere thank you to the loving care provided by VNA Ann's Haven Hospice.
