Jeanette Scott, 70, of Krum, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was born December 17, 1944 in Decatur to E.D. Choate and Opal Louise Claiborn Choate. She married Jerry Scott on June 1, 1963 in Denton. She retired from the City of Denton where she was an Assistant to the City of Denton Airport Manager and was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church in Krum.

Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Open Range Cowboy Church in Krum with Pastor Richie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughter, Stacy Hacker and husband James of Krum; son, David Scott and wife Brandy of Krum; sisters, Margie McCormick of Krum and Ann Porter of Sanger and 6 grandchildren.
