Jeanette Walters, 80, of Corinth passed on May 17, 2016. She was born on June 21, 1935 in Bartonville, Texas to Otis F. and Sally Smith. She married the late Dan Walters on June 19, 1950. He died August 10, 1997.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member at Landmark Baptist Church in Sanger.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Michael Dan Walters and wife Peggy of Corinth, son in law Dan Raffety of Mesa, Az., sister, Laura Catherine Smith of The Colony, four grandchildren, Brandon (and Michelle) Walters, of Krugerville, Jason (and Jennifer) Walters, Aubrey, Hunter Raffety (and Shelley), Utah, and Lisa Raffety of Mesa, Az. Great grandchildren are Kaitlyn, Jeanette, Haleigh and Jacob Walters and Scarlett and Julian Raffety.

She is preceded in death by her parents, eleven brothers and sisters and one daughter Sherry Lynn Raffety.

Visitation will be Friday May 20, 2016 prior to service 12:00-1:00 P.M. Funeral services will be Friday May 20, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Landmark Baptist Church 314 Cherry St. Sanger, Texas.

In lieu of flowers family has requested memorials be made to the Landmark Baptist Church Building Fund 314 Cherry St. Sanger, Texas.
