Obituary

Jeanie Carol (Hubbert) Pryor passed away peacefully on May 9th, surrounded by the love of the family and friends whose lives she touched so deeply. Born on February 12th in Mississippi, Jeanie later moved to Texas as a young girl, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, faith, and creativity.

Jeanie was a devoted wife to her husband, Kelvin, for 43 wonderful years, and a loving mother to her son, Kody, and daughter, Kadie. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into caring for the people she loved.

A truly godly woman, Jeanie carried herself with kindness, grace, and a positive spirit that never seemed to fade, no matter what life brought her way. She had a gift for making a house feel like home — whether through her cooking and baking, the countless things she crafted by hand, or simply the warmth she brought into every room she entered. If something could be made from scratch, Jeanie could make it better than anyone.

She also had a wonderful sense of humor and a way of making people laugh exactly when they needed it most. Her charm was effortless, and anyone who met her quickly became a friend. She left lasting impressions everywhere she went, not through grand gestures, but through genuine love, compassion, and the joy she brought to everyday moments.

Jeanie’s heart extended to her beloved animals as well. She adored her dogs, Buckshot, Elbee, and Pickles, along with her cats Joey, Loki, Thor, and Chandler, all of whom were cherished members of her family and undoubtedly spoiled with love.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable ache, her love, laughter, faith, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Her family finds comfort knowing Heaven gained a truly beautiful soul.
