Jeannie Callis, 81 of Argyle, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013. She was born on August 27, 1932 in Avery, Texas to Era Ray Smith and Loreteen French Smith. She married Reverend Gail Dwain Callis on September 21, 1950.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Pastor Lee Warriner officiating.

Jeannie is survived by her son, Michael Allen Callis and wife Karen; sister, Wilma Jo Loughmiller; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Teresa Gail; and son, Gary Dwain.
