Jeddy Richard Cutchen, 74, of Corinth, TX passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1941 in Douglas, AZ to Parley Nathaniel and Gertrude Langston Cutchen. He was a licensed deputy building inspector for high rise buildings and parking structures in Southern California. He married Donna Rhae Sheldon on September 25, 1959 in Redding CA. Jed was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and over the years participated in singing in the choirs, leading music, teaching classes, and participating in emergency preparedness. Jed was a licensed Ham Radio Operator and spent many hours participating in Ham Watches in conjunction with the Los Angeles Sherriff's Office. He also was a certified softball umpire for the City of Santa Clarita, CA and spent many Saturdays umpiring games for the city and church.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Cutchen of Corinth, TX; daughters, Janet Pulleyn and husband Paul of Reno, NV, Charlotte Bailey and husband Matthew of Oregon City, OR and Dorella Quinn and husband Phil of Flower Mound, TX; son, Richard Cutchen of Denton, TX; mother, Gertrude Cutchen of Spokane, WA; sisters, Olivia Oliver of Orem, UT, Laura Cutchen, Elnora Leppert and Wanda Darnell, all of Spokane, WA.; brother, David Cutchen of Kanab, UT; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
