Jeffery Wayne Dixon, 47, of Fort Worth passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 25, 1965 in Fort Worth to Cecil Dixon and Dellaine Howard. He was a fireman for the Denton Fire Department for more than 10 years. He was an original member of Texas Task Force I and proudly served during the 9/11 recovery in New York.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Dr. Landrum Leavell officiating.

He loved spending time with his son, Will and was always excited to do new things with him. He enjoyed golf and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his son, Will Dixon of Krum; grandmother, Jenan Mae Thedford; aunt, Tracey Geron; other family members, Misty Ruthesell, Amie Watson, Randy Dixon; and brother, Jarrod Dixon of Traverse City, MI.
