Jeffrey Fox, 63, of Denton passed away at his home on July 5, 2020. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Cal Fox and Helen (Cortez) Tippie.

Jeff was a high school graduate of Woodrow Wilson and attended Richland College. He and Connie opened Fox Feed and Ranch, a local feed store servicing the surrounding area, soon after they married while living in Sanger, TX. Jeff enjoyed roping and was honored to be a deacon at Bolivar Baptist Church. Later, they moved to Denton and started Saltwater and Freshwater Fish, Inc., an aquarium fish wholesaler supporting local pet shops as well as Petcos in the state of Texas and beyond. Jeff was an avid hunter, and also enjoyed fishing. People that knew him would agree this his generosity knew no bounds. He would have given you the boots off his feet if you needed them. His warm smile and generous nature always drew people to him. He never missed the opportunity to share the Gospel with anyone that would listen. He was a kind, gentle, thoughtful, and loving family man.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Fox of Denton, son, Clay Fox and Amy Ballesteros of California, daughter, Olivia Fox and Scot Partin of Justin, mother Helen Tippie of Malakoff, sister, Monica Fox of Denton, and brothers, Mark Fox of McKinney and Cotton and Kathy Tolnay of Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his father, as well as his brother, Ricky Fox.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at Willowwood Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, July 9th at 11 am.

The family would also like to thank Heaven at Home for the outstanding care they provided while Jeff was at home. Omar Kabha and Liisa Hodina went above and beyond to provide comfort and care the last two months.
