Jerry Wayne Bishop, 50, of Sanger passed away Saturday morning at home. He was born March 25, 1963 in Denton to Jerry and Judy Bishop. He was a graduate of Denton High School, class of 1983. Jerry worked for B & O towing before becoming unable to work.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. for visitation. His funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors, with Rev. James Singleton officiating. Burial will be at Bolivar Cemetery in Sanger, Texas.
Jerry is survived by his loving mother, Judy Smith of Sanger, daughters, Meagan McCage and husband Kirt of Gainesville, Brandi Bishop of Sanger, sons, Josh Bishop of Sanger, Randy Bishop of Dallas, J.J. Bishop and wife Rian and Nicholas Bishop of Sanger, brothers, Sam Bishop and wife Cathy of Krum, David Bishop and wife Debbie of Denton, Bobby Bishop and wife, Teddy of Palestine, four grandchildren, Jacob, Aaliyah, Am'Arie and Adien, and his loving friend, Vicki Daniels.
