Jerry Curtis Caldwell, 89 of Denton went to the lord on February 3, 2014.
Mr. Caldwell was born on January 5, 1925 in Wardsville, Oklahoma to Pearl Roberts Caldwell and John Caldwell.
Mr. Caldwell attended Meadow Brook Schools in Oklahoma; he served in the US Army Air Corps during World War 2 and later was employed at Dallas Air Motive.
Mr. Caldwell Married E. Jean Powell in Gainesville, Texas on April 16, 1948.
Mr. Caldwell is survived by his wife of 65 years, E. Jean Caldwell of Denton, two sons; Jerry Thomas Caldwell and Johnny Charles Caldwell both of Denton; a nephew, James Caldwell of Haughton, La and a Niece, Sheila Kuykendall of Maysville, Oklahoma.
Mr. Caldwell is preceded in death by his mother and father, John and Pearl Caldwell, one Sister and one Brother.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral Services will follow in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors at 2:00 pm with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
