Rogers Carlton 82 of Denton passed away February 4, 2022.  He was born in Denton to Jesse and Rita Sparks Carlton on December 6, 1939.

Rogers married Karen Blair in Denton on June 15, 1960.  They were members of the Singing Oaks Church of Christ.  He graduated from Denton High School. He was in the service station business in Denton for over 40 years.  His last station was the Phillip 66 on Loop 288. He enjoyed horse racing, hunting, and fishing and checking his cattle with the dogs he loved.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Rogers is survived by daughter, Tracy and husband Tim Kutas of Krum, son, Craig and wife Melody Carlton of Denton, sister Ginger Hutchins of Tyler, 4 grandchildren, Makenzie and husband Trent Erwin of Austin, Chelsea Kutas of Krum, Maddison and Jonathan Castilaw of Denton, Carlton and wife Chloe Kutas of Denton, Great Grans, Rylan Castilaw, Rosemary Kutas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
