Jerry Earwood passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on January 20, 2026, in Denton, Texas. Born on September 9, 1946, in Sherman, Texas, Jerry lived a life marked by kindness, warmth, and dedication to his family. He is a lifetime member of Kerrville Folk Music Festival and a member of Big D Barbershop Men's Choir. He loved giving bear hugs to everyone that he met and would not let you go unless you gave it to him. He was a sweet, gentle, and generous loving man.

A devoted husband to Gina Earwood, he shared many years of love and companionship, creating a beautiful life together that will be fondly remembered by all who knew them. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love, characterized by mutual respect and support through life's many challenges and joys.

Jerry was preceded in death by his loving parents, Aaron Earwood and Dana Earwood, and Lynda Whitaker, his sister, whose guidance and values shaped the man he became. Their memory lives on through the principles he upheld and the love he extended to those around him. He is survived by his wife Gina Earwood and his brother Nicky Earwood.
