Jerry married the love of his life, Cynthia Mayes, on November 26, 1965, in Dallas, Texas. Their marriage of more than 60 years was a testament to devotion, partnership, and family.
He earned a degree in Banking and Finance from North Texas State University, laying the foundation for a career defined by dedication and perseverance. He began by cleaning the building and, through determination and integrity, worked his way up to Vice President. Later, he owned and managed Gage and Associates Real Estate Appraisers, a business he led with pride until health issues prompted a move to College Station, Texas.
Jerry had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting, where he found peace and joy. Above all else, he cherished his family and took immense pride in his eight grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Gage of College Station, Texas; his daughter, Jennifer Christian, and her husband, Dale; his son, Jason Gage, and his wife, Brielle; and his treasured grandchildren: Natalie, Alanna, Adalene, and Elizabeth Christian; and Julia, Bryce, Madeline, and Kellen Gage.
