Jerry Don Mallouf passed away at his home in Denton, Texas on Friday, June 7, 2024. He was a long-time resident of Denton and worked in insurance sales.

Born in Chickasha, OK on September 26, 1936, Jerry was the cherished son of Jack and Ona Mallouf. He grew up in Chickasha, where he distinguished himself as a celebrated "Fightin' Chick" high school football player, forming many lifelong friendships along the way. Jerry's sense of humor and warmth endeared him to all who knew him.

Jerry's greatest joy in life was his family. Nothing brought him more happiness than gathering his children and grandchildren for a hearty Lebanese dinner. His devotion to his loved ones was unmatched, and he will be remembered for the love and laughter he shared with them.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ona Mallouf, and his brothers, Dannie Joe Mallouf and Jackie Ray Mallouf. He is also preceded by his nephew Rob Mallouf and grandnephew Mikel Joe Mallouf, Jr.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Mallouf, and his sister Marilyn Bridwell and spouse Terry of Blanchard, Oklahoma. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Jack and Amy Mallouf, John and Chrissy Mallouf, Dawn and Jimmy Patterson, Darla Kirby, Derame and Jeannie Mitchell, Kyrt and Kim Goldston, and Mark and Sonja Goldston. Jerry was adored by his grandchildren - Jordan, Tristan, Ashlyn, Madison, Holden, Braden, Brittney and Austen, Melissa, Jacob, Taylor, Dylan, Cole, Nadine, and Andy - and a great-grandson Wesley. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Judy and Wayne Blair, his nephew Mikel Mallouf, and many grandnieces, and grandnephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. All who knew and loved Jerry are invited to join in honoring his life and sharing cherished memories.

Jerry Don Mallouf will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, and family devotion will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
