Jerry Thomas Serna, 58, of Sanger passed away on October 23, 2021, in Denton. He was born in Robstown, Texas to Jeff Serna and Sara Gruschow.

He is survived by his sisters, Hilda Darwin of Sanger, Patsy Ball and husband Richard of Lake Kiowa, Lisa Guay and husband Mario of Sanger, brothers, Eddie Serna of Muenster, TX, Roland Serna of Tennessee and Danny Serna of Corinth, TX.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister, Diana Cruz and brother, Andy Serna.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 5-6PM, a rosary will be said at 6-7PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint John Paul II Catholic Church in Denton, Texas on Friday October 29, 2021, starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the family cemetery in Muenster, Texas.
