Jesse Chavez, 62, of Justin, Texas passed peacefully at home with his family. He was born on June 10, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Gabriel and Nellie (Gonzales) Chavez.

Jesse Chavez was a man of many talents, his love for cars brought him into the career of transmission specialist. One of the best mechanics around. He loved to help people any way he could, he would take the shirt off his back and give it to anyone in need. His heart was one in a million, he impacted the lives of many in the best ways possible. He leaves an infinite amount of good memories with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the amazing man he was and still is.

He is survived by his son, Jesse Ignacio Chavez of Albuquerque, sister, Donna Benavidez of Justin, brother, Charles Chavez of Albuquerque, and his daughter, Daisy Robles of Albuquerque, three grand-kids, and many many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, sister, Patricia Chavez and brother, Gabriel Chavez.

A memorial service will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. TBD.
