Jessie Sims, age 54, passed away on October 15, 2026, in Denton, Texas.Jessie was born in Lubbock, TX to Ellis Sims and Gloria Wilson on January 15, 1972. He graduated from Estacado High School in Lubbock, Texas.Jessie had a love for thee Lord and accepted Christ at an early age. His love of Christ was apparent in his music and biblical knowledge. He also loved to travel, go to the mall, and spend quality time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Jessie Wilson (Grandfather), Irene Wilson (Grandmother), Jessie Carl Wilson (Brother), Lilly Wilson (Aunt), Ellis Sims (Father).

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Gloria Wilson of Lubbock, TX, three sisters, Iris Sims of Dallas, TX, Shari Johnson and Ramona Slay-Jackson of Lubbock, TX, bonus sister, De Shawn Donalson (Eric), one uncle, Dwight Wilson of Lubbock, TX, two aunts, Diane Wilkerson and Annester Lawson (Jessie) of Fort Worth, TX, and a host of other friends and family.
