Jewell A. Riley, 92, of Denton passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 in Denton. She was born September 8, 1922 in Aubrey to Grover Cleveland Johnson and Nancy Early Atkins Johnson. She married Wilber E. Riley on October 15, 1938 in Marietta, OK. She worked at Russell-Newman for 23 years and the Denton State School for 10 years. She was a member of Krum Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum.

Jewell is survived by her son, Ronnie Riley and wife Kay of Krum and Wayne Riley and wife Karen of Collinsville, OK; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilber "Ben" Riley, sisters, Ola Fae and Odessa and brother Melvin.
