Jim was born in Hollister, CA on September 17, 1944. He was the baby of his family, where he had four sisters, and three brothers, who all greeted him, together, with their parents on Tuesday morning after passing peacefully in his sleep.

In October of 1964, at a friend's Halloween party, he met Sandra, and they became inseparable. They married in May of 1965 and spent fifty-six years together. They settled in Grand Prairie, TX, where they raised three wonderful daughters: Sheila, Cheryl, and Stefanie. Jim was an accountant for Mobil Oil until he retired. Then they headed North to Denton, where the became proud members of the Robson Ranch Community. It was there that they developed many special friendships, all the while, enjoying poker clubs, mahjong, canasta, stamping, and enjoying coffee and conversations!

He especially enjoyed family celebrations when the house would fill with love and laughter provided by his children, six wonderful grandchildren, and great grandson.

Jim is survived by his wife Sandy, Daughter Stefanie, daughter Sheila and husband Bob, daughter Cheryl and husband Kenneth, grandsons Nathan, Aaron, and Hunter; grand-daughters Megan, Kaylyn, and Jaykay, and great-grandson Milo.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 10, 2021, at the DeBerry Funeral Chapel.
