J.L. Lamb, loving husband, father and friend made his transition Saturday, August 30th. A native Texan, J.L. was born July 26th, 1942 in Wichita Falls, raised in Buffalo Springs and later moved to Bowie, Texas where he attended high school. He graduated from North Texas State University where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. J.L. was a lifelong golfer and hunter who loved the outdoors and his family. He is survived by his wife, Kay; his sons, Jason and Gavin; his daughter Amanda; his son-in-law Brad; his daughters-in-law Amber and Tammie and seven grandchildren. He will be truly missed by everyone who has ever met him. A celebration of life will be held in his honor Saturday, September 6th 2:00 pm at the Campus Theatre, 214 West Hickory Street, Denton, Texas 76201.
