Jo Marie Fairchild, 56, passed away on July 10, 2024 in Denton, Texas.  She was born on April 19, 1968 in Amarillo, Texas.  Jo was preceded in death by her brother, Trenton Fairchild and is survived by her mother, Helen Fairchild and father, Buckie Joe Fairchild; her sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and John Towne; and nephew, Dylan Towne.

Jo was a caring and generous person who put others before herself.  When she saw someone in need, she would do and give whatever she could to support them.  Her love of the water was evident as she volunteered for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary on Lake Lewisville and lived on the canals near Galveston.  She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes.  She loved life.  She loved spending time with her friends.  Jo made life better and brighter for those of us who were blessed to call her daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt and friend.

A graveside service is planned for Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 9:00AM at Roselawn Memorial Park's Garden of Reflection.  The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
