Joan Viola Lamb, 73, of Denton, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016. She was born March 11, 1942 in Fort Madison, IA to Forrest Jack and Rosemary Freitag Siegfried. She married Clifford E. Lamb on June 20, 1964 in Fort Madison, IA. She was a homemaker.
She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Joan is survived by her husband of 51 years Clifford E. Lamb, one daughter Julie Lamb Poeschl and husband Terry of Denton, four sons, Christopher Lamb and wife Tina of Burlington, IA, Craig Lamb and wife Becky of Decatur, Brett Lamb and wife Stephanie and Bradley Lamb and wife Diana all of Denton, four sisters Barbara and husband Dennis Klesner of Nauvoo, IL, Mary Rose and husband Adrian Meierotto of Kahoka, MO, Eleanor Freeman of Colorado and Debbie and husband Alex Hartley of Missouri, three brothers, John and wife Peggy Siegfried of Nauvoo, IL, Henry and wife Sue Siegfried of Niota, IL, Daniel and wife Deborah Siegfried of Keokuk, IA, thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Gerald and Harold Siegfried and sister Jane Siegfried.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 25, 2016 from 3-5 at the DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
