Joan Trice
Joan Marie Johnson Trice, 71, of Denton passed way on Wednesday February 18, 2015, at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born on July 9, 1943 in Madison, South Dakota to Emil Johnson and Luella Olson. She attended Madison schools. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Dennis and Graden, and her twin-sister, Joanne Searcy.
She is survived by her brother and sister--in-law Larry and Jane Johnson of Peoria, Arizona; sisters Linda Olson of Peoria,Arizona, and Arlene Boyd, of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughters Leslie Couture, Laura Graziano and her husband Rob, all of Denton; her grandchildren: Jacob, Ryan, Ethan, Starbuck, and Holland; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Widows of America and the First Seventh Day Adventist Church of Denton. It was her wish to be cremated and her ashes be with her twin sister. There will be no service at this time. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, or the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Denton.
We will miss her smile. There is a lot to say about her; she was loved.
