Emma Joan Wilson, 81 of Decatur, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Denton, Texas. She was born on October 4, 1936 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Lee and Emma Bessie (Blanton) Chaffin.

Emma was married to Marshall Edward "Pete" Wilson, they were married on March 15, 1953 until his death on August 24, 1986. Emma met James Marion Pugh in 1988. She and James shared their lives together until his death on April 25, 2018.

Emma was a member at the Countryside Fellowship Church and she retired from Wal-Mart. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Emma will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Emma is survived by her son, Dennis Wilson and wife Janet, Chester Wilson and wife Peggy, sisters, Linda Glenn, Annetta Boise, Arlene Bates, brother, David Chaffin, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Linda Joan, son, Marshall D. Wilson, brothers, Francis L. Chaffin, Charles D. "Dubby" Chaffin and Chester Chaffin.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Plainview Cemetery in Krum, Texas Rev. Mark Webb will be officiating.
