Obituary
On the evening of March 9, 2015 JoAnn lost her brave battle with cancer with her family by her side. She was born on November 7, 1948 in Denton and attended Denton High School. She was the loving wife to John Michael Ivy, married on April 6, 1984 in Lake Dallas. She was the best mom to Teresa and Marion Cartwright and Tammy Pearson and her partner Lorie Wallace. She was a great friend and mama JoAnn to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde T. and Mary Alice Johnson and brother, Billy Jack Johnson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
