Jody Wayne Harrison, 42, passed away on June 21, 2020 at his home in Oak Point, Texas.  He was born on November 5, 1977 in Lubbock, Texas to JW and Martha (Samsel) Harrison.  Jody graduated from Coronado High School in 1996 and immediately began pursuing his dreams.  He was hard-working, always telling jokes or stories, and loved playing the guitar.

Jody is survived by: his parents, JW and Martha Harrison of Oak Point; his sister, Stacy Carter and her husband and daughter of The Colony; his Godmother Julie Richter and many other family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mutt and Marie Harrison, his maternal grandparents, Henry and Louise Samsel, and his Godfather, Erceal Doty.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors at 2:00pm on Friday, June 26, 2020.
