Joe Robert Akers was born on June 17, 1967 and passed away May 28, 2023.  He was born in Denton, Texas where he attended Denton High School.  He was in the Air Force, and was stationed in New York where he went to school and served his country.  He was a Construction Manager for several companies, but returned to Denton to live recently.  Rob enjoyed his life to the fullest and loved his boat and going to the lake with friends.

Rob is survived by his mother, Margaret Lovette, his dad, Joe Akers, his brothers, Andy Akers and Justin Akers, and his girlfriend Sharon Russell.
