Joe Bob Crain's Obituary

On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, Joe Bob Crain, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at age 68.

Joe Bob was born on October 31, 1951 in Gladewater, Texas to Robert (Bob) and Ruth Ann (Hathaway) Crain. On December 29, 1982, he married Linda Anne Miller. They raised two sons, Daniel Crain and Chris Moos, and two daughters, Michelle Endtricht and Jody Jolly. Joe Bob was a Papa to seven grandchildren, Katelin Crain, Leah Crain, Clark Crain, Brooklyn Moos, London Weiss, John Jolly, and Julianne Jolly.

Joe Bob was a highly respected DBT (Design Build Test) Principal Technician Advisor at Halliburton and retired after 47 years of dedicated service.

He enjoyed going camping with his family, was a member of Hobie Cat Fleet 23, played on the Halliburton softball team, and had a deep passion for cooking. Joe Bob was known for his quick wit, humble chuckle, and the best slow smoked brisket (among many other recipes).

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Argyle. (414 US-377, Argyle, Texas 76226). A reception lunch will be held immediately afterwards at Joe Bob and Anne's house. (Address will be provided at the service)
