Joe Allen Scott, 58, of Shady Shores, TX passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022. He was born in Wichita, KS on September 23, 1963, to James Bruce Scott and Vina Sprague Scott.

He married Vicki Mollenkopf on June 3, 1995. He was employed at Peterbilt Motors for 34 years as a Facilities and Maintenance Manager. He was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic  Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. Joe was a kind, caring person and would do anything for you. He was just an overall handyman. He was the perfect epitome of a true man of God.

He is survived by his wife Vicki Scott, brother James and numerous in laws.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother.

A visitation will take place at the DeBerry Funeral Home on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A memorial mass will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on August 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Deacon Barry will lead the rosary for Joe also in the main church immediately before the mass beginning at 10:30.
