Joe Weldon Waggoner, 71 of Denton died at his home on November 16, 2013. He was born on February 22, 1942 in Green Valley, Texas to Weldon and Susie Waggoner. He married Ann Smith in Denton, Texas on December 23, 1960.

Mr. Waggoner attended Denton High School in Denton, Texas and was a Project Manager for Fischback and Moore International until his retirement.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Willowwood Church of the Nazarene with Bruce Chamberlain officiating, burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Willowwood Church of the Nazarene in Denton, Texas from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Waggoner is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann Waggoner, his daughter, JoAnn Waggoner Wilson and her husband, Ed Wilson. His sisters, Doris Branch of Sanger, Bobby Blakley of Denton, Wanda Roach of Bandera, Texas and Marry Potts of Sanger. His is also survived by his grandchildren, Weldon Mason and his wife, Anna Mason, Tye Mason and his wife Ashley Mason, Joe Wilson, Leaha Mason, Lauren Adame and husband Jay Adame. Great Grandchildren, Weldon Mason, Emily Mason, Rhett Wilson and Jackson Adame.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Weldon and Susie Waggoner, his son, Richard Waggoner and great grandchildren, Paisley Michelle and Kloe Waggoner Mason.
