John Dennis Arterburn Jr., age 60, passed away on August 14th in Denton, TX. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on the 17th day of February 1960. He was a 1978 graduate of Olathe High and a dedicated Elevator Engineer of 41 years. He married Diane Arterburn (Harshman) on the 19th of May 1979. John was a charismatic, humorous, and loving son, brother, husband, and father.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Judith Ann Cooke and John Dennis Arterburn Sr., his sister Jeanne Ruth DuPoint.

He is survived in death by his wife, Diane, his brother, Joseph D. Arterburn, his children Jennifer Brelsford (Jake Brelsford) and Steven Arterburn. He had three grandchildren: Olivia Khlor, Isaiah Boll, and Elizabeth Brelsford.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 6-8:00 pm for visitation.  John will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Olathe, KS.
