John Edmund Boerner, 35, of Dallas passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Dallas. He was born April 10, 1979 in Denton to Clarence and Nada Maurine Edward Boerner. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Pilot Point.

Visitation and Rosary will be Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Pilot Point. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 A.M. with Father Tom Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Kemp, Ryan Hardin, Eric Shearer, Jerad Rauschuber, Michael Hammons and James Duncan.

John is survived by his mother, Nada Maurine Boerner of Lake Dallas; father, Clarence and Shirley Boerner of Pilot Point; brother, Justin Frank Boerner of Ponder; step-sisters, Misty McGee of Pilot Point and Jessica Dunn of Pilot Point; grandparents, Charles and Rose Boerner of Pilot Point and Maurine Carter of Mesquite. John is preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Maurine Boerner and grandfather, Orville Edwards.
