John Robert Deek, 39, of Northlakes, formerly of Denton, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday, April 4, 2013. He was born on December 31, 1973 in Denton to Sami Deek and Judy (Deek) Giese.
John graduated from Denton High in 1992, was a 1997 graduate of Amherst College and completed his law degree at Texas Wesleyan University in 2007. He received his license to practice law in 2008 and was a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
John is survived by his mother and his stepfather, Bill Giese. He is preceded in death by his father Sami in 2003.
Plans for a family memorial service are pending.
