John Tyler Fitch, age 31, of Denton went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 23, 2023, in Lewisville, Tx.

John was born on August 16, 1991, in Tomball, Texas to Darryl and Rhonda (Ross) Fitch. He loved life to the fullest and beat to his own drum. At the age of 5 years old he began karate lessons and attended throughout school until he got his black belt in Muay Thai. He attended Klein Collins High School where he was in JROTC and was on the JROTC Drill Team. After high school, John joined the Marine Corps and ended up go to Afghanistan for 8 months on a NATO Mission. Upon returning to the states, he moved to Denton to attend the University of North Texas were he graduated with a Bachelor of Science of Intergraded Studies, May 2017. Just before graduating, John married his high school sweetheart, Amanda Grant on October 30. They began to grow their family and set roots.

While living in Denton, John volunteered at Arabian Rescue Therapy, aka the Horse Farm. There he cared for foster horses, helped move hay that was donated and a multitude of repairs and maintenance. He also became part of the Boardman family. Morry, Rebecca and their children became family to John and Amanda. We are so thankful for his adopted family, whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Fitch, son, Devin Fitch, daughters, Evelyn Fitch and Ember Fitch, his mother and father, Darryl and Rhonda Fitch, sister, Samantha Hom and her husband, Conrad and their children, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law with nephew, Cookie and Joey Grant and Derick Grant, brother-in-law Tony Grant, and brother-in-law Jerrod Grant and wife Twilla and their children.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A visitation will be held prior to the service in the Chapel from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
