John Steven Green, 61 of Denton, passed away at home on Thursday, January 27, 2022.  He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 26, 1960 to Bill Green and Barbara Janice Atkins Green.

He is survived by his wife Maria Green (Denton, TX), daughter Julie Arieta (Keen, New Hampshire), sister Jo Fletcher (Stephenville, TX), sister Kathy Hooper (Houston, TX), sister Patty Doyle (Denton, TX), brother David Green (Denton, TX), and the Hernandez-Olvera family.

Steve retired from TWU in 2020.  He passed away after losing his battle with liver cancer. Steve will always be remembered for his quick wit and the many funny jokes that he enjoyed sharing.
