John Lewis Holley passed away in Denton, Texas on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born in Lewisville, Texas on March 9, 1932. John married Judith Boyden in 1956. He enjoyed being with his family and their happiness, playing practical jokes, going to the casino, and watching the Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks, and Texas Rangers.  He is preceded in death by his beloved nine siblings.

John is survived by his wife of 65 years Judy Holley and his daughter Brenda Holley Oxley, & husband Tom, his son Robert Holley, his four grandchildren, Katherine Sepich, Samantha Seamans, Chainey Dodd, and Taylor Holley, and two great-grandchildren Holley & Edwin Sepich.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, also at DeBerry's with interment to follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum. This is a celebration of the wonderful life of John Holley, we ask that everyone wear happy casual colors.
