It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, John Michael Kennedy, on December 20, 2024. He was 43 years old. He will be forever remembered for his kindness, quick wit, and love of Sci-Fi.

John was born to Robert I. Kennedy Jr. and Evelyn A. Brown on February 27, 1981 in Manassas, VA.

Above all, John was a loving and devoted sibling to his twin brother Robert I. Kennedy III and sister Stephanie Johnson. Nothing brought him more joy than his daughter Malorie Kennedy. He shared a close bond with each of us and will be greatly missed by everyone.

In addition to his family, John loved music, political and historical discussions and rescuing cats.  He had a huge heart and accepted everyone for who they were.

He is survived by his daughter Malorie Kennedy, brother Robert Kennedy III (Sarah, Gabriel, and Cayden), sister Stephanie Johnson (Leigh, Mikey, and Kaileigh), mother Evelyn Alexander (Leon Alexander), father Robert Kennedy Jr. (Erika) and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on January 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM, at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Friends and family will be able to view the live stream of the service starting at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to his daughters college fund Malorie's College Fund.

We will forever carry John in our hearts and cherish the memories of the wonderful person he was. His spirit will live on through those who loved him.
